This morning, Ofgem confirmed a 4% increase to the Energy Price Cap from October, meaning many households will see higher bills just as the weather gets colder.

Check your name is on the bill ✉️

If you receive Pension Credit, you may qualify automatically for £150 Warm Home Discount.

You could also be eligible if you're on a low income and receive Universal Credit or another means-tested benefit, depending on your circumstances.

❗ One important thing to check: make sure your name is correctly listed on your electricity bill by 23 August.

Most eligible customers don't need to apply, but if you're expecting the discount, checking your details now is worthwhile.
