🐾 Bring your four legged friend this weekend! 🐾

From Friday 28th August through to the end of the year, well behaved dogs on a short lead are welcome to Rowfant Trail.

Please help us keep the trail enjoyable for everyone:

🐕 Dogs must be kept on a short lead at all times - we have badger and deer families that call the trail home.

💩 Please clean up after your dog

🗑️ Take all dog waste bags with you

🌞 Final chance to enjoy the summer holidays at the Rowfant Trail 🌞

This Bank Holiday weekend is your last chance to come and have a go on our swings and relax in our hammocks🌳✨

We’ll be open throughout the Bank Holiday weekend, and the best bit? There’s no need to pre-book - just come along and enjoy a day of outdoor fun.

While you’re here, give our new orienteering route a try, explore the play areas, take a walk along ‘The Deer Track’ and make dens in the woods. Don’t forget the picnic too!

This adorable fawn was spotted enjoying a drink from mum — a lovely reminder of the incredible wildlife that calls the trail home.

Moments like this are a real joy to see, and just one of the many reasons the Rowfant Trail is such a special place for nature and wildlife. 🌿

🌳Three chances to visit this week! 🌳

We are open Thursday 20th, Friday 21st AND Saturday 22nd August so there are three opportunities to get outdoors and make the most of the summer holidays!

There’s lots to discover from our orienteering trail, summer swings and hammocks and den building area, to our kids trim trail, toddler play area and summer challenge sheets.

Whether you’re looking for an active adventure, something to keep little ones busy, or simply some fresh air and time together outdoors, there’s plenty to enjoy whilst exploring the Rowfant woodland.

What does your perfect woodland day look like? 🌿

Maybe it’s a little adventure, a picnic in the sunshine and plenty of time to just sit back and enjoy the surroundings.

Or perhaps the kids are racing around the orienteering course, heading for the swings and seeing who can claim the best hammock first!

However you spend it, there’s plenty of space to make the day your own.

We’re open again this Friday 14th & Saturday 15th August from 9.30am so bring your picnic, pick your pace and enjoy a day at Rowfant Trail.

🌳 Would you like to be involved in the preservation of the Rowfant woodland?

With a mix of nature trail maintenance and conservation tasks, depending on the season, there’s lots of volunteering opportunities available. No experience is necessary but all volunteers must be aged 18+.

🪏 We will provide all the tools and show you how to use them safely.

☕️ Tea, coffee and biscuits are provided but please bring a packed lunch!

🥾 You will need to wear suitable clothes for the weather and sturdy boots

Have you met Rowfant Trail's most unusual residents? 🌳👀

Hidden amongst the trees, you'll find our quirky log people - a collection of woodland characters with plenty of personality (even if they don't say much!)

Created from natural timber, they're a wonderful way to give fallen wood a new lease of life, adding a little imagination and surprise to every walk.

Keep your eyes peeled as you explore...
