💫The crew at Auchterarder Fire Station are taking on a special charity challenge — a fire cart pull from the station to Craigrossie and back.💫

Working in teams of six, firefighters will pull a traditional fire cart, originally built in 1896, along an approximately 11.5‑mile round trip. The route will take the crews down the High Street, along Abbey Road, to the base of Craigrossie, around Ben Effrey, up onto Craigrossie, and then back the same way to the station.

This is a tough physical challenge, but it’s all for a great cause. Our aim is to raise funds for local organisations that make a real difference in our community:

Last week, Firefighters Jack Webster and Hugh Tracey attended the Perth, Kinross, Angus, and Dundee Awards Ceremony in Forfar, where they were honoured with a Chief Fire Officer’s Commendation and an award from The Royal Humane Society. These accolades recognise their exceptional actions in saving the life of a member of the public while off duty.

🎄🎁 It’s back! Perth Fire Station’s Christmas Gift Appeal 2025🎁🎄

Last year, thanks to your incredible generosity, we collected over 800 gifts for local children, families and vulnerable people across Perth. 💫

This year, we’re hoping to make an even bigger difference and there are three easy ways you can help:

1️⃣ Drop off a gift – Bring a new, unwrapped gift to Perth Fire Station, between 09:00–20:00 daily.

2️⃣ Donate online – Visit our JustGiving page 🔗https://www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/perth-christmas-gift-appeal?utm_term=Nn2NgMEm2&utm_medium=FA&utm_source=CL to make a monetary donation.
