• help make sure that employees and new entrants to the construction industry have the right training;
• that employers provide training for their workforce;
• that we understand the industry and can identify what its training needs are both now and in the future;
• and that the right qualifications, at the right level, are available to meet these needs.

The theme for the 2026 is 'Lived experience heard: real voices, real change'.
For Building Mental Health Alliance this theme helps us to reflect on the continued need for support signposting, raising awareness of poor mental health in construction, and to continue to ensure organisations train staff on mental health and wellbeing.

A key enhancement this year is increased support for employers participating in ApprenticeshipNI Programmes
