👮🏼 In the last two weeks, local PCSOs has seized a quad, two bikes and a van for no insurance with the assistance of traffic officers.

💠 The quad bike caught the attention of PCSOs due to the speed it was driving which promoted checks to be completed, revealing no insurance.
💠 The first bike was an off road bike, with no number plate displayed, driving recklessly up and down on a pavement, with no insurance, tax or MOT.
💠 The second bike was a suron style bike, displaying no number plate, after further investigation CCTV revealed the bike being ridden illegally.
💠 Today a van was seized for no insurance and further reported for the condition of the two front tyres.

We are determined to keep our roads safe and these four seizures were all spotted whilst PCSOs were on their proactive patrols. If you witness any illegal use of quads, bikes or vehicles we strongly advise you to report this to us 🤝

⚖️ A Cwmbran man has been jailed for 17 months after making "vile" threats to his neighbours at a block of flats in Bronllys Place, Croesyceiliog.

👮 Paul Foster, 39, appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Thursday 20 August for sentencing after pleading guilty.

💬 Sgt Kate Lewis said:

"Everyone deserves to feel safe in their own home. Instead, the victims were subjected to threatening and intimidating behaviour that left them genuinely fearing for their safety.

"We welcome the sentence imposed by the court and hope it provides reassurance to the victims and the wider community. We will continue to take robust action against those who commit offences of this nature."

Foster was jailed for 17 months and made the subject of five-year restraining orders preventing him from contacting the victims.

The local PCSO has seized an off-road bike in Thornhill today after spotting it riding in an anti social manner, being ridden by a youth on the footpath and causing distress to local residents. Thanks to some quick local knowledge, the bike was recovered and taken off the road. We know how much this antisocial behaviour affects the community, so we will keep patrolling the area and acting on the information you provide. Please keep reporting these issues to us 🚲🚫👮
