Cwmbran NPT delivered an ASB awareness input to Year 6 pupils at Maendy Primary focusing on consequences and community impact and we discussed stranger danger and how they can keep themselves safe over the summer holidays. 😎 🚙 👮
Along with the Youth Engagement and Schools Team discussed the role of a PCSO with service users at Aspris College at their careers fayre. 🧑‍🎓 📝 📚

Cwmbran Neighbourhood Team had the pleasure of being welcomed back to Pontnewydd Primary School to talk about Hate Crime and the impact that it could have within the Community. Positive discussions were had, with brilliant questions raised by the Year 5 Pupils. Da Iawn Pawb! 🌟 🚓 👮

🚨 ARREST MADE AND STOLEN MOTORBIKE RECOVERED 🚨

👮 On 13th June 2026, Officers recovered an outstanding stolen motorbike in the area 🏍️

🤝 Officers from our Community Action Team, Response, Roads Policing and NPAS, worked together to locate the motorbike, of which took evasive action to avoid police.

🏃 The eyes in the sky then lead officers on the ground to a male who had decamped.

✅ A 16 year old male, from the Cwmbran area has been arrested on suspicion of Theft of Motor Vehicle, Dangerous Driving, Driving with no licence and insurance and Possession of Cannabis. The male remains in custody at this time.
