🚨 We’re appealing for information to locate Thomas Archer from Chepstow area, who has breached his licence conditions after being released from prison.

ℹ️ Archer was serving a sentence for theft.

Due to the fact that Archer, who was released on licence, breached his licence conditions he has now been recalled to prison.

🦆 Yesterday (Sunday 6th September), Our and Leaders Alex & Sharron attended Swan Meadow, Abergavenny for the bi-annual Hope Rescue . 🦆

🤝 Our cadets engaged with other volunteers and members of the public at the event, gaining valuable communication and team-working skills whilst assisting a charity to raise some funds for their work. 🤝

🏁 Our Cadets also helped to launch the ducks at the start of the race and returned them into their storage at the end to await the next event in May 2027. 🏁

📎 for our assists them in their qualifications and gives them skills for the future that they can use as part of interviews for jobs that they may apply for in the future. 📎

🗓️ We have recently held a recruitment campaign for our Volunteer Police Cadets where we have received 90 applications and our next campaign will open again in April 2027.🗓️

Evening patrols in Chepstow 👮‍♂️👮‍♀️

This evening, officers from Monmouthshire Neighbourhood Team have been out and about on patrol in Chepstow Town, focusing on concerns around anti-social behaviour (ASB) and helping to keep our communities safe.

Our patrols are not just about tackling issues — they’re also a great opportunity to speak with local residents, listen to your concerns and understand what matters most to the community.

If you see us out and about, come and say hello! We’re always happy to have a chat.

We’ll continue to provide a visible policing presence and take action where necessary to address ASB and other community concerns.

Working together to keep Chepstow a safe and welcoming place for everyone.

🚨 PROACTIVE PATROLS – MONMOUTH TOWN 🚨

👮‍♂️ Officers from the Monmouthshire Neighbourhood Team were out conducting proactive patrols in Monmouth Town last night, with a clear focus on deterring and tackling anti-social behaviour (ASB) and keeping our communities safe.

As a result of our patrols and proactive activity:
🚗 1 vehicle seized for having no insurance.
🚘 1 vehicle seized under Section 59 Police Reform Act due to the anti-social manner in which it was being driven.
🔍 1 vehicle searched under Section 23 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
⚖️ 1 male issued with a Community Resolution for possession of a Class B controlled substance.

👮‍♀️ Our neighbourhood teams will continue to take proactive action against anti-social behaviour, including the use of our available powers to deal with those whose behaviour impacts negatively on our communities.

🚓 SHOPLIFTING ARREST – CHEPSTOW 🚓

Today, officers from the Monmouthshire Neighbourhood Team attended Chepstow and located and arrested a male on suspicion of multiple shoplifting offences.

Following a search, the male was also arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with intent to supply.

The male has since been charged with five theft from shop offences and has been remanded to appear before the court.

Our officers will continue to take positive action against those responsible for shoplifting and other offending that impacts our local businesses and communities.

Shoplifting is not a victimless crime — it has a real impact on local businesses, staff and the wider community.

👮‍♀️ We will continue to tackle this behaviour and hold offenders accountable.

4️ 4 of our have assisted in Magor this morning after an issue was identified with a fence overlooking Magor Primary School.

👴🏻 An elderly gentleman had suffered some to his new fence with someone spray painting words and symbols over it at some time during the past month.

🤝 The gentleman was unable to paint this himself, and had no family to assist, so some of our stepped up to stop the community from having to look at this awful mess.

💰 The paint and brushes were bought using funds from the , which is money that has been seized from Criminals and re-used by ourselves for small community projects such as this.

☑️ I think we all agree, that the painted fence looks much nicer, and the pupils at Magor Primary School will not have to see these symbols during their playtime on their return to school.
