The Parish Council is aware of concerns being raised about recent anti-social behaviour in the village, including late-night disturbances, and understands how upsetting this is for those affected.

Incidents of this nature should be reported directly to

Humberside Police (via 101, or 999 if there is an immediate risk)

East Riding of Yorkshire Council’s Anti-Social Behaviour team (email [email protected] or phone (01482) 396380 )

as they are the organisations with the legal powers to investigate and take action.

Residents are encouraged to keep a record of dates, times and details of any incidents, as this information is important in building a case.

The Parish Council does not have enforcement powers, and strongly advises these concerns are raised with the relevant authorities.

We’re delighted to confirm that the new village gateways have now been installed as part of funding received through the Do It For East Yorkshire program.

The gateways were fully funded, meaning there has been no cost to the Parish or residents, and we’re very grateful for the opportunity to secure this funding. Similar gateways have already been installed in other communities, where they have proven to be a real benefit in improving village identity and helping to encourage safer driving.

The installation has been completed to a high standard, and we’d like to thank our contractor for an excellent job.

This project forms part of a wider range of initiatives the Parish Council is working on to improve the village and deliver positive outcomes for the whole community.

As part of the funding requirements, we now need community feedback. We would be very grateful if residents could take a few minutes to complete the short feedback questionnaire provided by the funding body, as your views help demonstrate the value of projects like this and support future funding opportunities.

Thank you for your continued support.

Form can be found on the left side of our home page or alternatively contact the parish clerk, [email protected]
