Thankfully her injuries were not life threatening, and she is now recovering at home.

An investigation is ongoing and officers would like to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the collision who hasn’t already come forward or anyone with dashcam footage.

We have had a cracking week in this glorious weather and we hope you all have too! 😎🌞

Here is a quick visual of what our neighbourhood team have been up to through the weekly 'Beat It' Post 📸

As you can probably imagine we can't take photos of every incident that we go to, but here are a couple of examples below: 📝

PCSOs Douglas & Harrison located one of our most wanted people through their excellent team work! 👏 The dream team duo also located a stolen car 🛻

PCSOs North & Parker located 2 high risk missing children 👦🏽👦🏽 They have also spoken to several members of public around road safety whilst on their travels 🚓

PCs Smith & Inwood located a wanted male who is from out of our area. The male was wanted for recall to prison.. A swift trip up to custody and that was him all checked back in 💻

PCSOs Kempf & Murray have attended multiple community events across the town along with conducting their normal duties 🚓

Our Darlington response officers have also been working around the clock 24/7 to ensure the 999/101 calls have been responded to 💙

Last week as part of Op Sceptre, PCSOs Hall and Place were out speaking to retailers about knife crime and reminding businesses of their responsibilities when selling knives and bladed items.

Think 25 posters have been distributed to retailers in the town centre, as well as to more than 700 retail staff through ShopWatch groups across the county, raising awareness of under-age knife sales.
