A month ago, Andy Burnham became Prime Minister. Here's what he's been up to so far:

✅Pledged to end rough sleeping, with a route for every rough sleeper to be off the streets this winter.
✅Capping bus fares at £2.
✅Cutting business rates for pubs, clubs and music venues.
✅Cutting taxes on electricity bills.
✅Giving unlimited 24/7 bus travel to disabled people.
✅Devolving more power and decision making to mayors.
✅Extending half price rail fares to students aged between 16-18.
✅Bringing West Midlands bus services into public ownership.
✅Reviving our high streets, with a crack down on unwanted v**e and betting shops.
✅Ending rip-off discounts and subscription traps.
✅Opening up to 159 new mental health support centres.
✅Going after the criminal gangs running illegal waste sites.

Disabled people across England will be able to use their free bus passes at any time of day from next April.

Eligible disabled people across England will get free bus travel all day, every day, after the Prime Minister announced today (Tuesday 18 August) that the government will lift time restrictions on concessionary passes.
