Just to let you all know as of Saturday 22nd of August, you will no longer be able to pay for parking with coins. Many will already know as the DDC signs have been up for a while. You will still be able to use cards but now you will also be able to pay via Ringo. The same three hour limit still applies to all those using the car park.
As always, we ask for discretion when using our car park, it is there for our visitors to the castle, primarily, but we do try to be helpful to those needing a car park for other reasons too.
We thank you for your support.

We’ve had some amazing contributions to our activity this summer, including these drawings relating to two of Henry VIII’s wives!👑 Upon arrival in England in 1539, Anne of Cleves dined at Deal Castle before continuing her journey to Rochester. Anne and Henry’s marriage was infamously short, but new research has shown that they maintained an affectionate friendship until the king’s death in 1547.

You can learn more about Anne of Cleves’ time in Tudor England at Deal Castle! 🏰 Plan your visit here: http://bit.ly/2XSZllK
