Hopefully many families in the village have already had a chance to try out the new play equipment at the playing fields.
If you haven't, phase one of the new equipment project is complete.
As well as new swings, additions to the wooden climbing tower and a four way springer, there is also an accessible roundabout and fantastic new climbing frame.
We hope you are able to enjoy the new equipment during carnival week!

* VANDALISM IN THE PARK *

Please keep clear of the pole near the pavilion that has floodlights on, as sometime last night/early morning, severe damage was caused to the electricity cables and lights.

The incident had been reported to the police and we are hoping our CCTV cameras caught footage of the perpetrator/s before the damage was carried out.

As always, any damage that has to be repaired is done so with parish council money, which is ultimately residents’ council tax, so please, any information would be welcomed.

We have been notified that High Street will be closed from February 16 to February 18 (from 7am to 5pm) for CORMAC work.

The public toilets in the village are currently closed as there is an electrical fault. We are working with our electricity provider to get this sorted as soon as possible.

We are encouraging the public to have their say. Your local Neighbourhood Team will be available in the mobile police station at the layby in Delabole 10:00 - 11:30 13/10/2025.

Please take this opportunity to raise any concerns you may have and to find out what we are doing to tackle the issues that matter to you.
