Wythnos wych arall ar ddiwedd Ymgyrch Buzzworks! 🌼🐝

Dyna i chi newid rhyfeddol. Diolch i ymroddiad, gwaith caled a brwdfrydedd ein gwirfoddolwyr anhygoel, mae’r Gerddi Gwenyn wedi cael adfywiad llwyr.

Yr wythnos hon rydym wedi bod yn cwblhau’r prosiect drwy baentio a chwynnu, creu llwybr newydd, a gosod cerrig calch arno. Mae’r gerddi’n barod nawr i bawb gael eu mwynhau.

Mi wnaeth pawb weithio gyda’i gilydd i gwblhau’r gwaith, ac mae’r bobl ifanc hyn wedi bod yn ysbrydoledig. Mae nhw wedi dangos drwy waith tîm, ymroddiad ac ysbryd cymunedol, bod modd cyflawni pethau rhyfeddol.

Diolch arbennig i’r gwirfoddolwyr yn Eglwys Henllan, sydd wedi edrych ar ein hôl drwy gydol y prosiect gan ddarparu bwyd blasus, diodydd poeth a chroeso cynnes bob dydd. Mae eich caredigrwydd ac eich haelioni wedi ein cadw ni i fynd, a diolch am bopeth y gwnaethoch chi i’n cefnogi.

Bydd modd mwynhau’r Gerddi Gwenyn am flynyddoedd i ddod, ac mae meddwl am yr holl bobl sydd wedi cyfrannu at wneud y prosiect hwn yn llwyddiant yn dod â balchder mawr i ni.

Diolch o galon i’n gwirfoddolwyr, cefnogwyr a phawb a wnaeth gyfrannu at wneud Ymgyrch Buzzworks yn brosiect cofiadwy a buddiol o’r dechrau i’r diwedd.

Another fantastic week and the end of Operation Buzzworks! 🌼🐝

What an incredible transformation it has been. Thanks to the dedication, hard work, and enthusiasm of our amazing volunteers, the Bee Gardens have been completely revitalised.

This week we put the finishing touches on the project by completing the painting and weeding, creating a new pathway, and laying the new limestone path. The gardens are now ready for the whole community to enjoy once again.

Every single volunteer pulled together to get the job done, and these young people have been an absolute inspiration. They have shown that with teamwork, commitment, and community spirit, amazing things can be achieved.

A special thank you also goes to the fantastic volunteers at Henllan Church Institute, who have looked after us throughout the project with delicious food, hot drinks, and a warm welcome every day. Your kindness and generosity have kept everyone going, and we truly appreciate everything you’ve done to support us.

The Bee Gardens can now be enjoyed for years to come, and we couldn’t be prouder of everyone who played a part in making this project such a success.

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers, supporters, and everyone who helped make Operation Buzzworks a memorable and rewarding project from start to finish.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 Wythnos 5 o Ymgyrch Buzzworks! 🌿🐞

Mae’r cynnydd yr wythnos hon yn anhygoel, gydag ymdrech fawr heddiw gan ein gwirfoddolwyr ifanc. Mae eu hegni a’u hymroddiad wedi bod yn ysbrydoledig! Heddiw mi wnaethon ni adeiladu gwesty i’r pryfed, a’i lenwi gyda llawer o guddfannau i’r trychfilod gael ymgartrefu. 🐝🦋

Mi wnaethon ni hefyd gwblhau dellt a photiau blodau, sydd nawr yn barod ar gyfer plannu, ac mi wnaethon ni ddechrau ar osod calch ar y llwybrau.
Mi wnaeth pawb weithio’n galed heddiw – doedd dim stop ar neb! 💪

Roedden ni hefyd wrth ein bodd i groesawu Arolygydd Mcgrady sydd yn cefnogi ein prosiect, ynghyd ag Uchel Siryf Clwyd, sydd wedi rhoi’n hael i’r prosiect ac wedi ei wneud yn bosib. Diolch am ddod i weld y cynnydd ac am gefnogi ein gweledigaeth.

Gydag un wythnos yn unig ar ôl, rydym yn benderfynol o orffen yn gadarn a throsglwyddo y gofod anhygoel hwn yn ôl i gymuned Henllan er mwyn i bawb gael ei fwynhau.

Diolch i bob gwirfoddolwr, cefnogwr a phawb sydd wedi rhoi a***n i helpu gwneud Ymgyrch Buzzworks yn gymaint o lwyddiant.

🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 What an amazing Week 5 of Operation Buzzworks! 🌿🐞

The progress this week has been incredible, with one final big push today from our fantastic young volunteers. Their energy and determination have been inspiring!

Today we proudly constructed an impressive insect hotel, filling it with plenty of nooks and hiding places for all the mini beasts that will soon call it home. 🐝🦋

We also completed the trellis and planter, which are now ready for planting, and made a great start on redefining the paths with a fresh layer of limestone dust.

Everyone worked like trojans today—there was simply no stopping them! 💪

We were also delighted to welcome our very own Inspector McGrady who has been a strong supporter of the project, along with the High Sheriff of Clwyd, whose generous funding has helped make this project possible. Thank you for coming to see the progress and for supporting our vision.

With just one week to go, we’re determined to finish strong and hand this fantastic space back to the Henllan community ready to be enjoyed by everyone.

Thank you to every volunteer, supporter and funder who has helped make Operation Buzzworks such a success.

Drivers - are you expecting to see a motorcycle? 🏍️

As part of , we’re reminding all motorists to stay alert for motorcyclists on every journey.

Motorcycles are smaller and can appear to be travelling faster than you expect. Before turning, changing lanes or pulling out at a junction, take an extra moment to look.

That extra second could make all the difference.

Together, we can make North Wales’s roads safer for everyone 😊

Think Bike. Look Twice. Save Lives 💙

Gyrrwyr - ydych chi’n disgwyl gweld beic modur? 🏍️

Fel rhan o , rydym yn atgoffa pob gyrrwr i gadw llygad am feicwyr ar bob taith.

Mae beiciau modur yn llai ac yn gallu ymddangos yn gyflymach nag yr ydych yn ei ddisgwyl. Cyn troi, newid lôn neu ymuno â’r ffordd, cymerwch eiliad ychwanegol i edrych.

Gall yr eiliad honno wneud byd o wahaniaeth.

Gyda’n gilydd, gallwn wneud ffyrdd Gogledd Cymru yn fwy diogel i bawb 😊

Pwyll beic. Edrychwch ddwywaith. Achubwch fywydau 💙

🌼 Week 3 of 🐝

Our team has been busy once again continuing the painting and finishing up with the trellis planter. The site is really starting to come together, and the transformation has been fantastic to see.

One of this week’s highlights has been the start of the construction of a rather impressive insect hotel, which will provide a valuable habitat and help support our local insect population. There will more on the progress that as the project goes on.

🐝 Why are bees so important?

Bees are tiny powerhouses of our ecosystem. They pollinate plants, helping fruits, vegetables and flowers to grow, while supporting biodiversity and keeping our natural environment thriving.

Without bees, ecosystems would lose a vital link, impacting both wildlife and people. Protecting bees means protecting the balance of nature—every flower visited, every hive supported and every bee matters.

Our fantastic young volunteers are doing their bit to help ensure this ecosystem continues to flourish, and they should be incredibly proud of what they are achieving.

This project isn’t just benefiting wildlife—it’s also creating an important community space where people can come, sit, relax and enjoy the positive impact that nature can have on their mental wellbeing.

🌿 There’s still time to get involved!
If you’re aged 11–16, we’d love to see you. Come along, grab a paintbrush or a spade, and help us continue this vital work.

📍 Location: Henllan Church Institute
📅 When: Every Wednesday during the school summer holidays
🕛 Time: 12:00–2:00 pm

If you’re interested, please contact your Denbigh and Ruthin School Police Officer, PC Craig, at [email protected]

Together, we’re making a real difference—for our community and for nature. 💚🐝

🌼Wythnos 3 o 🐝
Mae ein tîm ni wedi bod yn brysur unwaith eto, wrth barhau efo’r gwaith paentio a gorffen y plannwr delltwaith. Mae’r lleoliad wir yn dod at ei gilydd, ac mae’n braf gweld y gwahaniaeth yn cael ei wneud.
Un o uchafbwyntiau’r wythnos hon ydy cychwyn adeiladu gwesty pryfaid eithaf trawiadol, fydd yn cynnig cartref gwerthfawr i bryfed lleol ac yn helpu bioamrywiaeth. Mi fyddwn ni’n dweud mwy am ei ddatblygiad wrth i’r prosiect fynd yn ei flaen.
🐝Pam mae gwenyn mor bwysig?
Mae gwenyn yn gewri bychain o bŵer yn ein hecosystem ni. Maen nhw’n peillio planhigion, gan helpu ffrwythau, llysiau a blodau i dyfu, ac yn helpu bywyd gwyllt ar hyd y ffordd.
Heb wenyn, byddai natur yn ei chael hi'n anoddach ffynnu. Mae gwarchod gwenyn yn golygu gwarchod cydbwysedd natur – pob ymweliad â blodyn, pob cwch gwenyn a gefnogir a phob gwenynen yn bwysig.
Mae ein gwirfoddolwyr ifanc gwych yn gwneud gwaith arbennig wrth helpu creu lle gwell i natur ffynnu, ac mi ddylen nhw fod yn hynod o falch o’r hyn maen nhw’n ei gyflawni.
Nid yn unig bywyd natur sy’n elwa o’r brosiect hwn – mae hefyd yn creu man cymunedol bwysig lle gall pobl ddod i eistedd, ymlacio a mwynhau’r effaith gadarnhaol mae natur yn ei chael ar eu lles meddyliol.
🌿Mae amser o hyd i gymryd rhan!
Os ‘da chi rhwng 11 a 16 oed, mi fyddwn ni wrth ein bodd eich gweld chi. Dewch draw, cydiwch mewn brwsh paent neu raw, a helpwch ni barhau efo’r gwaith hanfodol hwn.
📍Lle: Sefydliad yr Eglwys, Henllan
📅Pryd: Pob dydd Mercher yn ystod y gwyliau haf
🕛 Amser: 12:00-2:00pm
Os oes gynnoch chi ddiddordeb, cysylltwch efo’ch Swyddog Ysgolion dros Ddinbych a Rhuthun, Cwnstabl Craig ar [email protected].
Efo’n gilydd, ‘da ni’n gwneud gwahaniaeth go iawn – er mwyn ein cymuned ac er mwyn natur. 💚🐝
