I was thinking about this today.
If someone had told me a few years ago that I'd be helping people understand their household bills, I'd probably have laughed and said, "You've got the wrong person!" 😄
It simply wasn't something I'd ever considered.
But that's the funny thing about life...
Sometimes the opportunities that have the biggest impact are the ones you never see coming.
What started with learning how to understand household bills soon became helping people save money, reduce financial stress and feel more confident about the decisions they were making.
Then something else happened...
I realised I could teach other people to do exactly the same thing and build a business that fits around their own lives too.
Looking back, I wasn't really looking for "household bills."
I was looking for something meaningful.
Something flexible.
Something where I could genuinely help people.
And I found it in the most unexpected place. 💜
It made me wonder...

"Get a REAL job."

I've heard those words more times than I can count.
Whenever someone doesn't understand what I do, it's often the first thing they say.
The truth?
My "not a real job" has given me freedom, choices and the opportunity to help hundreds of families improve their finances.
I don't expect everyone to understand it.
I just know the difference it's made to my family, and the people I've had the privilege of helping.
Maybe it's time we stopped judging opportunities by how they sound.....and started judging them by the lives they change.

10 months... and I still haven't paid an energy bill. 🤯

A few years ago, if someone had told me I'd go 10 months without paying an energy bill, I'd have laughed.
But that's exactly what's happened.
One of the unexpected rewards of building a flexible business has been having my energy covered month after month. Even better, I've been able to help hundreds of people save money on their household bills, reduce their energy bills and, for those who want it, create an additional income around their existing commitments.

"I'll sort it later."
We've all said it.
But when it comes to household bills, later can sometimes become expensive.
From 1st July, the average household on a variable tariff will be paying at least £213 more a year.
I've spoken to lots of people who assumed they were on a fixed tariff, only to discover they weren't.
