We had a super fun time on Saturday night as Donny's fans of live & original music came together to stand against racism and bigotry, showing that what unites us is far stronger than what supposedly divides us.
There was a great atmosphere as the friendly crowd listened, and danced, to our fantastic local acts, the standard of music being very high all night.
If you missed this one, you won't want to miss our big event on the 31st October. Keep the date and watch out for more details. We've got even more great acts lined up for it....

Not long to the next Love Music Hate Racism in Donny this Saturday night, bringing the community together with live & original music from our fantastic local acts, all in the name of standing together against bigotry and hatred.
Doors open at 6.30pm, live music from 6.45-11pm. £5 otd, hot & cold soft drinks available, BYO on alcohol.
We also need a couple more volunteers to help the night go smoothly. It's just an hour or two on the merch stand or serving drinks, and you get free entry and a vegan curry meal for your trouble. Comment down below or DM us if you want to help us out.😊

Our next meeting is on Monday 30th March, 6.30pm in the back room of the Unitarians Church, Hallgate (opposite Flares). Come along and have your say in what we do and how we do it, including when we have gigs and who we book. We're a friendly and very democratic bunch, no party politics here, no platform of speakers laying down the par6y line or anything like that. Just comrades sat round a table sharing ideas as absolute equals.

Want to get involved with fighting racism, while also promoting live original music in our community? Then come along to our next meeting on Thursday 12th March, 6.30pm at the Unitarians Church Hall on Hallgate. Everyone's welcome, whether you want to help with ideas and planning or simply want to volunteer a bit of time to help promote or run a gig smoothly on the night.
We are working towards our next event on on Saturday 25th July, and it's not too late to contribute to it's planning.
