Elmgove and Larchfield Parks have taken a real pummelling due to increased traffic travelling to St Mary's Primary School. 🏫

The school has already sent out multiple appeals to parents to drive slowly through these quiet residential areas, as well as huge signs showing entrance and exit points.

The roads in both areas are falling to bits. Repeatedly dug up, huge multiple floods and every day weathering.

I'm bring this to Department for Infrastructure as a matter of urgency. Residents have suffered enormously in this area. Solutions are there, but where are they?

The Chairperson, Cllr Glyn Hanna will light up Down Leisure Centre pink tonight 🩷, Wednesday 26 August 2026, as a tribute to country music legend Dolly Parton.

There is £7,000 for each the 3 areas. Local people will collectively agree on how to spend the funds through a facilitated process.
