🎮 New E-Sports Room – Power, Data & RGB Lighting ⚡

A great-looking project completed.

Our team has carried out the electrical and data works for this E-Sports room, including 24 new data points, a new communications cabinet, fibre optic cabling, additional power sockets and RGB feature lighting.

Everything has been terminated, tested and labelled, with the room left tidy and ready for use.

The finished result looks brilliant – especially with the RGB lighting switched on! 👌

⚡Weekly Round-Up | Testing, Remedials & Planning Ahead

Last week, a large part of our workload focused on EICR testing and associated remedial works across commercial and education sites.

With commercial shutdown periods coming to an end and schools preparing to reopen over the next couple of weeks, our engineers have been busy making sure electrical installations are safe, compliant and ready for normal operations to resume.

As one busy period comes to an end, we're already scheduling our next phase of EICR works – this time across the hotel and hospitality sector, as many venues begin to enter their quieter periods.

Yesterday, members of our engineering team travelled up to Scotland, where they'll be spending the week completing electrical works associated with the installation of a new Revent oven for a major global retailer.

⚡Breakfast Bar Power Installation Complete

Another installation completed today by the Black Pear Electrical team.

We installed a new dedicated circuit to serve a breakfast bar, including:

🔌 9 double socket outlets with Type-C USB charging
⚡ New 4mm radial circuit with RCBO protection
🔧 Conduit containment neatly installed beneath the breakfast bar
🧱 Cable route core drilled through from the kitchen side to avoid visible containment on the feature wall

A practical power solution with plenty of charging points, while keeping the finished installation as clean and discreet as possible.
