Durham Miners Gala Raising awareness about the Durham Miners' Gala and British trade unionism

The Durham Miners' Gala is one of the largest working-class political gatherings in Europe, and meets yearly to commemorate the culture of the Durham coalfields and act as a focal point for remembering those who work and have worked in the mining industry.It is also a celebration of the music and culture of mining communities.
