Join us for a free community event where you can meet local organisations, find out what support and activities are available and have a chat with people who can help you.

Wave Active will be showcasing some of the activities and support available at the Downs Leisure Centre:

13:10-13:30 - tour of Lillian's room and introduction to Wave Active Health and STROLL

13:55-14:10 - seated exercise taster session

14:35-14:55 - repeat tour of Lillian's room and introduction to Wave Active Health and STROLL

There will be plenty of opportunity to browse stalls, meet local organisations and find out what's available in your area.

Free parking is available on site

What's on during the Full of Life Festival 2026? 🤔

Another thing being delivered by Wave Active Health is free taster sessions for new low-impact fitness studio, Lilian's Room, taking place every day from 9am to 4pm at Downs Leisure Centre.

Support should feel easy to access, local and welcoming.

The UOK Wellbeing Service, delivered by Southdown as part of the UOK Mental Health network, offers walk-in welcome sessions for adults across Brighton & Hove and East Sussex.

These sessions bring mental health and wellbeing support into local hubs and community spaces, so people can access help closer to where they live, without needing a referral or joining a waiting list.
