吳次長日前主持「2026年歐洲重要價值夥伴計畫」歐洲官員團歡迎酒會，歡迎來自奧地利🇦🇹、捷克🇨🇿、法國🇫🇷、立陶宛🇱🇹、荷蘭🇳🇱、波蘭🇵🇱、羅馬尼亞🇷🇴及英國🇬🇧的官員訪台，共同交流台歐科技合作與產業發展。

吳次長表示，台灣與歐洲不僅共享民主、自由等普世價值，在半導體及科技產業上更有長期且緊密的合作基礎。近年台歐科技交流持續升溫，台灣企業積極拓展歐洲布局，雙方也透過人才培育等方式深化合作。面對威權勢力持續擴張，更需要彼此攜手，打造安全、可信賴且更具韌性的夥伴關係💪

訪團團長史蒂芬也指出，台灣在半導體、人工智慧及無人機等領域具備完整產業生態系，結合歐洲科研優勢，可進一步促進研究成果落實產業應用，創造更多附加價值。

MOFA welcomes European VIPs from 8 countries to Taiwan for an exchange!🤝

MOFA Deputy Minister François Wu hosted a welcome reception for officials taking part in the 2026 European Valued Important Partnership (EVIP) Program from Austria🇦🇹, the Czech Republic🇨🇿, France🇫🇷, Lithuania🇱🇹, the Netherlands🇳🇱, Poland🇵🇱, Romania🇷🇴, and the UK🇬🇧.

In his address, Wu stated that Taiwan and Europe share the values of democracy and freedom and enjoy a long-standing, close cooperative relationship in semiconductors and the tech industry. Over recent years, he said, Taiwan-Europe tech engagement has continued to thrive, with many Taiwanese companies expanding operations to Europe and heightened cooperation in talent cultivation. In the face of authoritarian expansionist threats, Wu said, they must join forces to forge a secure, reliable, and resilient partnership💪

Stefan Gara, who heads the delegation, stated that Taiwan has a complete industrial ecosystem for semiconductors, AI, and unmanned aerial vehicles, which, combined with European R&D strengths, can lead to more research being applied in industry, creating more added value.

From shared values to tech and industry links, Taiwan and Europe🇹🇼🇪🇺 will continue to work closely to create more cooperative opportunities✨

台灣總統賴清德近日出席「晶鏈高峰論壇」時向與會政府官員及科技專家表示，台灣正在與可相互信賴的夥伴共同建立穩定的半導體供應鏈，相關國家可以藉由互相協助，以降低天災、疫情及地緣政治所帶來的風險，增加半導體供應鏈的韌性。台積電(TSMC)前往美國、日本及德國投資設廠，就是著眼於此。歐洲及美國的官員則表示，此種分散投資的方式，攸關各國合作及韌性強化，而非進行各自的市場保護。

Officials and technology leaders are gathering in Taipei for Semicon Taiwan, where President Lai Ching-te says Taiwan is building a network of trusted partners to help stabilize the global semiconductor supply chain. Speaking at the Semicon Network Summit, Lai said countries can support one another, diversify risks and build more resilient supply chains in the face of natural disasters, pandemics and geopolitical changes. Taiwan’s chipmakers are investing heavily overseas, with TSMC opening new fabs in the United States, Japan and Germany. European and US officials say the diversification is about cooperation and resilience, rather than protecting their markets.

佳龍部長明天將率團訪問帛琉，並出席一系列活動，見證台灣與帛琉和太平洋友邦的合作成果，包含：

✅ 第55屆 峰會相關活動

✅ 第30屆「台灣/中華民國與太平洋島國論壇國家對話會議」

✅ 帛琉政府舉辦 #太平洋繁榮特展

佳龍部長屆時也將拜會帛琉總統惠恕仁（Surangel S. Whipps, Jr.）及副總統歐宜樓（Raynold B. Oilouch），並參訪帛琉國家醫院與台帛雙方共同推動的「榮邦計畫」相關項目。

我國將持續秉持「太平洋之道」精神，尊重PIF會員國的共同決策與自主選擇，並以「發展夥伴」身分，透過「總合外交」及落實「榮邦計畫」，深化與PIF及其會員國的夥伴關係。

＼ Preparing for departure to Palau 🇵🇼 ／

MOFA Minister Lin Chia-lung will set off for Palau tomorrow to attend a series of events and witness the fruit of Taiwan-Palau cooperation, including:

✅ Taking part in activities related to the 55th Pacific Islands Forum;

✅ Taking part in the 30th Taiwan/Republic of China-Pacific Islands Forum Countries Dialogue;

✅ Attending the Pacific Prosperity Exhibit hosted by the government of Palau.

Minister Lin will also meet with Palau President Surangel Whipps Jr and Vice President Raynold B. Oilouch, and visit Belau National Hospital and other initiatives related to the Diplomatic Allies Prosperity Project.

Taiwan will continue to embrace the Pacific Way, strengthening our partnership with the PIF and its member nations, while respecting their joint decisions and determinations, in line with the Diplomatic Allies Prosperity Project under the integrated diplomatic approach.
