吳次長日前主持「2026年歐洲重要價值夥伴計畫」歐洲官員團歡迎酒會,歡迎來自奧地利🇦🇹、捷克🇨🇿、法國🇫🇷、立陶宛🇱🇹、荷蘭🇳🇱、波蘭🇵🇱、羅馬尼亞🇷🇴及英國🇬🇧的官員訪台,共同交流台歐科技合作與產業發展。
吳次長表示,台灣與歐洲不僅共享民主、自由等普世價值,在半導體及科技產業上更有長期且緊密的合作基礎。近年台歐科技交流持續升溫,台灣企業積極拓展歐洲布局,雙方也透過人才培育等方式深化合作。面對威權勢力持續擴張,更需要彼此攜手,打造安全、可信賴且更具韌性的夥伴關係💪
訪團團長史蒂芬也指出,台灣在半導體、人工智慧及無人機等領域具備完整產業生態系,結合歐洲科研優勢,可進一步促進研究成果落實產業應用,創造更多附加價值。

MOFA welcomes European VIPs from 8 countries to Taiwan for an exchange!🤝
MOFA Deputy Minister François Wu hosted a welcome reception for officials taking part in the 2026 European Valued Important Partnership (EVIP) Program from Austria🇦🇹, the Czech Republic🇨🇿, France🇫🇷, Lithuania🇱🇹, the Netherlands🇳🇱, Poland🇵🇱, Romania🇷🇴, and the UK🇬🇧.
In his address, Wu stated that Taiwan and Europe share the values of democracy and freedom and enjoy a long-standing, close cooperative relationship in semiconductors and the tech industry. Over recent years, he said, Taiwan-Europe tech engagement has continued to thrive, with many Taiwanese companies expanding operations to Europe and heightened cooperation in talent cultivation. In the face of authoritarian expansionist threats, Wu said, they must join forces to forge a secure, reliable, and resilient partnership💪
Stefan Gara, who heads the delegation, stated that Taiwan has a complete industrial ecosystem for semiconductors, AI, and unmanned aerial vehicles, which, combined with European R&D strengths, can lead to more research being applied in industry, creating more added value.
From shared values to tech and industry links, Taiwan and Europe🇹🇼🇪🇺 will continue to work closely to create more cooperative opportunities✨
