Welcoming a Greener Future Project Welcoming a Greener Future Project is an exciting project that aims to support migrant people in Edinburgh save energy and reduce carbon footprints.

Funded by the Scottish Government's Climate Challenge Fund, the Welcoming Association's 'Welcoming a Greener Future Project' is committed to raising awareness of climate change and supporting migrant communities in Edinburgh to save energy. It does so by:

1. Offering home visits to support people to use home energy more efficiently;

2. Organizing community events, class based workshops, semin

ars, exhibitions on issues, solutions, technologies, and achievements relating to climate change to communicate, educate and raise awareness for individuals, organizations, and communities about climate change.

3. Introducing a programme of recycling, re-using and re-newing through monthly workshops and recycling fairs . Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the efforts of combating climate change and environmental degradation. For more information, please see the below links:
