Today, the APPG on Digital Creators, which I co-chair, launched our report highlighting the vital role that creator-led content plays in the UK.

Our evidence shows that creator-led content is not only a major economic opportunity, but also an increasingly essential part of young people’s lives.

As the conversation around children’s online safety rightly continues, we need a more nuanced approach - one that clearly distinguishes between harmful online experiences and the significant value that content from creators like Tom Rocks Maths and Temi Danso Art provides.

Getting this balance right will shape not only the future of online safety, but also the relationship between young people, technology, education, and culture in the UK.

🚆 This weekend marked an important milestone for our railways, as Govia Thameslink Railway (GTR) services, including Great Northern services used by many residents in Enfield North, returned to public ownership.

I have been pushing for this for some time with Lord Hendy, the Railways Minister and I welcome commitments to recruit an additional 75 drivers, introduce extra Great Northern off-peak services from Moorgate from December, improve support during disruption and continue work to improve punctuality and reliability.

I will continue working with Ministers to push for the reliable, frequent and accessible rail services that Enfield North residents deserve.
