It’s run by Capel Manor College, the only further education college in London specialising in learning about the environment. Forty Hall is a mixed farm with a variety of animals, including many rare breeds. We house a herd o

f Red Poll cattle, a mixed sheep flock including rare breeds such as the Lincoln Longwools and Jacobs, and a small group of pigs with Saddleback crosses and Large Blacks. All of our animals are raised to produce the finest quality organic meat which is sold through the Farm shop. The Farm is also home to London’s only organic commercial vineyard, Forty Hall Community Vineyard, as well as a thriving community orchard, a forest garden and a market garden, which runs Enfield Veg Co. our very own veg bag scheme. The Farm provides educational opportunities for Capel Manor’s students, as well as hosting events like our annual Lambing Weekend and a monthly Farmers' market. We are busy working to make Forty Hall Farm a centre that promotes and celebrates local, sustainable food.

Summer has arrived at Forty Hall Farm, and this Sunday’s Farmers’ Market will be bursting with the very best the season has to offer!

The farm's market garden is now in full harvest, with an abundance of freshly picked seasonal vegetables and beautiful flowers grown right here on the farm. Alongside produce from local growers and makers, you'll find delicious street food, refreshing drinks and plenty of opportunities to explore the farm's beautiful surroundings.

With temperatures remaining high, animal welfare is our highest priority across all of our college campuses and Forty Hall Farm.

As London's environmental college, we know how important it is to help animals stay safe and comfortable during periods of hot weather. Our experienced farm and animal management teams carry out regular welfare checks throughout the day, ensuring all animals have constant access to fresh water, shade and the care they need.

If you see animals resting or lying down, please don't be concerned, this is perfectly normal behaviour and one of the ways they conserve energy and stay cool in warm conditions.

We are also encouraging everyone to keep a close eye on their own animals and pets during the heatwave, making sure they too have plenty of water, shade and opportunities to keep cool.

Just confirmed for Beer, Blues & BBQ on Saturday 13th June – Bristols finest, Potts Music. You know him from Livestock favourites Potts & Jammin', appearing by kind permission of Chai Wallahs.

Fresh from the festival circuit and preparing for another busy summer season, Potts will be providing acoustic sets during the band changeovers, keeping the music flowing throughout the day and bringing a little of that classic festival atmosphere to Forty Hall Farm.

A familiar face to many Livestock regulars, expect great songs, plenty of character, and the perfect soundtrack between three fantastic live blues acts.
