Celebrate Refugee Week with Creative Ukrainian Craft Workshops
Join us at Bourne Hall Museum on Thursday 18 June for a welcoming morning of creative workshops celebrating Ukrainian culture, storytelling, and community.
These free, drop-in sessions are open to everyone — no experience needed! Come along, get creative, and connect through shared traditions in a friendly and inclusive space.
Activities include:
Beaded Angel Workshop – create your own beautiful angel using simple beadwork techniques, symbolising hope, protection, and remembrance.
Wool Doll & Bird Making – craft traditional decorations inspired by Ukrainian folk art, where birds represent freedom, happiness, and spring.
Whether you’d like to learn a new skill, reflect, or simply enjoy a relaxing morning of creativity, everyone is welcome.
