Another hour or so out canvassing with Peter Watson, for our colleague Paul Kimber in Portchester Wicor. 🚶‍♂️

I have to say, I’m absolutely blown away by the responses we get on the doorstep. Even those who don’t or won’t be voting are so polite, friendly and respectful.

It’s genuinely heartwarming to see how many people are willing to take a moment out of their day to have a chat. Whatever our differences or political views, a little courtesy and kindness go a long way! 😊

I’m deeply saddened to hear of the passing of one of my beloved residents.

D (whose name I’ll respectfully keep private out of consideration for the family) was a larger-than-life character who, I can only imagine, brightened everyone’s day. Such a hearty personality, someone who spoke their mind and wasn’t afraid to say it as it was.

D was passionate about politics, particularly socialism, and I always enjoyed our debates. We could have differing opinions, but there was always mutual respect, which made our conversations all the more enjoyable.

D, you will be missed by many. Thank you for the conversations, the debates, and for being unapologetically yourself.

May you rest in peace. 🕊️

Out this morning in Portchester Wicor, braving the horrid rain and dropping leaflets with my colleague Paul Kimber! 🌧️💪

Lots of positive feedback, which made it all worthwhile. It’ll probably take me the rest of today to dry out! 😆

Just a quick warning to anyone travelling down Fishers Hill, there is a tree partially blocking the side of the road and wanted to warn others.
Its been reported, but didn't want someone damaging their vehicles before it's removed

A Little Help Goes a Long Way

Finally found some time today to hand over £75 from Hill Park Working Men’s Social Club, myself and Cllr Richard Harris.

The manager was very happy to receive the cash, and hopefully it will help towards fuel for the vehicle or whatever else is needed.

It might not be a huge amount, but every little helps, and it’s good to be able to do our bit to support those who need it. ❤️

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but there's MORE temporary traffic lights on Highlands Road, this time it's Kiln Road end

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Key to Joy, where I met the wonderful staff and spent time with the fantastic people who attend the centre daily, alongside my colleague, Cllr Richard Harris.

We are supporting a grant for the centre and, hopefully, will be able to secure some additional funding towards a 3D printer, giving those who attend even more opportunities to learn, create and enjoy new experiences.

It’s always a joy to see everyone enjoying their open days, sharing their stories and bringing so much life and laughter to the centre. ❤️

A big thank you to all the staff for the amazing work they do and for making us feel so welcome. It’s clear to see just how much the centre means to everyone who attends. 👏

Being part of Portsmouth Reform UK’s gala tonight has genuinely made my year! ❤️

Meeting BruceUnfiltered, Ant Middleton and Matt Goodwin all in the same evening was just amazing! 🥰

I’m normally the one hiding from the camera, so to have these moments captured makes it even more special! 😂📸

An evening I’ll remember for a very long time. Sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone, and tonight was definitely one of those moments! ❤️✨
