✅ Pleased to say that, after pressing Hampshire County Council to take action, they’ve now visited the site and agreed that work is needed to remove the pavement obstruction by the Blaise Close bus stop on Woburn Avenue.

🚧 The work is now due to be scheduled, and I’ll keep pushing to make sure it’s completed as soon as possible. Thanks to everyone who raised this with me – I’ll keep you updated. 👍

Vote Prabesh KC, a strong voice for Wellington ward!
The Wellington ward by-election takes place today (Thursday 16 July) and polling stations will be open from 7am to 10pm.
If you live in the Wellington ward and are eligible to vote, check your poll card for details of your polling station. You won't need to have your polling card with you to vote, but don't forget to have your appropriate original photo ID to bring along with you.

Last night, senior Labour Councillor, Mike Roberts, argued for a 20mph blanket speed limit across Rushmoor. This would massively impact anyone in our community who relies on their car for getting around and it’s far from clear what it would achieve for Rushmoor. What do you think?

A number of local residents have reported the massively overgrown bush by Blaise Close which is forcing people onto the road. This has been reported and we’ll keep pressing until the problem is sorted.

⚠️ The overgrown bush by the Blaise Close bus stop is now blocking much of the pavement, forcing pedestrians into the road.

I've reported it and asked for it to be cut back. I'll keep you posted.
