We're delighted to announce that Norths Funfairs will be at Gala 2026, bringing more attractions and excitement than ever before!

For the first time, Norths Funfairs will be on site for four fantastic days, running from Thursday 2nd July through to Sunday 5th July 2026, giving everyone even more opportunities to enjoy the fun and excitement.

Visitors can look forward to a great selection of attractions for all ages, including:

🎢 Thrill Rides
🎠 Children's Rides
🎯 Traditional Fairground Games & Attractions

📢 PUBLIC NOTICE FOR FEATHERSTONE TOWN GALA 2026 📢

The countdown is on! With just 2 weeks to go until the Featherstone Town Gala, we'd like to remind residents and businesses of the proposed temporary road closures required to facilitate the annual Gala Parade on Saturday 4th July 2026.

🚧 Roads affected include:
• Green Lane
• Halfpenny Lane
• Pontefract Road
• Ackworth Road
• Station Lane (including side roads)
• Featherstone Lane
• Wakefield Road

If you have any comments, concerns or observations regarding the proposed road closures, please contact Featherstone Town Council or Wakefield Council Streetworks Team using the details on the poster.

The Gala is one of the highlights of the Featherstone calendar, bringing our community together for a day of celebration, entertainment and family fun. We appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation in helping make the event a success.
