Come along and support the Mayor of Featherstone’s Produce & Craft Show 2026 — a fantastic celebration of local talent, creativity and produce! 🧁🌸🎨🏆

🕙 10:00am – 12:00pm
Entries can be brought along to the Community Centre and submitted for the show.

⚖️ 12:00pm – 12:30pm
Judging will take place across the entries.

Official opening of the event

🔨 1:00pm – Charity Auction
We’ll be holding a charity auction, with entrants having the opportunity to donate their items to be auctioned.

❤️ ALL FUNDS RAISED WILL GO TO THE MAYOR’S CHOSEN CHARITY – FEATHERSTONE ROVERS FOUNDATION.

Whether you’re entering an item, coming along to admire the wonderful entries, or joining us for the auction, we’d love to see you there!

🍂🌾 Calling All Scarecrow Makers! 🌾🍂

With the Featherstone Scarecrow Festival just around the corner, we have 3 hay bales available free of charge for anyone creating a scarecrow display.

These hay bales have been kindly donated by a local resident, and we would like to thank them for their generosity in supporting this fantastic community event. 👏

The hay bales can be collected from the Community Centre on a first come, first served basis.

If you would like to collect one, please get in touch or call into the Community Centre.

We can't wait to see all of the amazing scarecrow creations appearing across Featherstone. Good luck to everyone taking part! 🎨👨‍🌾👩‍🌾

🫏 Real Donkeys Are Still Coming! 🫏

Although Seaside in the Park has been cancelled due to the weather forecast, we're pleased to confirm that Real Donkeys will still be at the Community Centre so children don't miss out on the fun!

Come along and enjoy:

🥕 Feeding the donkeys carrots
🫏 Donkey rides
📸 Photo opportunities
🤗 Petting and meeting the donkeys

Real Donkeys will have a vehicle on site to provide shelter if needed, helping activities to continue despite the weather.

We know many children were looking forward to meeting the donkeys, so we're delighted that they'll still be able to enjoy this special experience.

⚠️ Seaside in the Park Cancelled ⚠️

Unfortunately, due to the weather forecast and the rain that is expected throughout the day, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow's Seaside in the Park event.

The safety and enjoyment of everyone attending is our priority, and the forecast conditions would make it unsuitable for the event to go ahead.

However, the fun doesn't stop there! 🎲🎯

Why not come along to the Community Centre, where we will have a selection of FREE games and activities available for children and families to enjoy indoors.
