"This evening I attended the public meeting at the Laverton on the ongoing air pollution coming from the MBT site. I heard directly from residents who’ve been dealing with this for years, and I want to be clear, this is not a low-level nuisance, it’s a genuine failure affecting people’s daily lives across Westbury. Good to discuss next steps with the Environment Agency, Hills Waste and Wiltshire Council. I’m also raising concerns about the contract variation being negotiated between the council and Hills, which would pave the way for a Westbury incinerator."
