We’re opening our doors to raise money for the Fire Fighters Charity and we’d love to welcome you along.

Bring your vehicle, get it washed by your local firefighters and help support an incredible charity that provides lifelong physical, mental and financial support to firefighters and their families when they need it most.

Whether you’re stopping by for a wash or just to say hello, every donation makes a difference.

🚒 Busy day for Kilsyth Community Fire Station at Civic Saturday 🚒

We brought along our fire engine, incident support vehicle, and chip pan fire display - which, as you can see from the pictures, shows the importance of never using water to extinguish burning oil.

Thank you to everyone who came along to say hello and support us and the rest of the stall holders. We always enjoy getting out into the community and meeting local residents.

It wasn't only the children enjoying the fire engine, but a lot of parents also wanted to sit in the back of the pump too.

Lastly, congratulations to Queen Lizzie and the rest of the party — we hope you all had a fantastic day. We certainly did, especially the ice creams.

With the better weather approaching, the crew took the opportunity to spend some time in the local area training in water safety.

We utilised equipment we carry on the appliance to train in water rescue.
