Reform UK has concluded its own internal investigation into claims that senior figures discussed disguising foreign donations, finding the party broke no electoral laws

This is absolutely shocking.

🚨🚨 THE ESTABLISHMENT IS CRUMBLING: LIB DEM COUNCILLOR DEFECTS TO REFORM UK! 🇬🇧🔥

The momentum is unstoppable! Even elected Liberal Democrats are waking up to the truth: mainstream Westminster politics has completely failed Britain.

A massive, warm welcome to Councillor Ola Kareem (Northway Parish Council, Gloucestershire), who has officially abandoned the Lib Dems to join Nigel Farage and Reform UK! 🤝🎉

Cllr Kareem—who brings valuable real-world experience from social care management—didn't hold back on why he walked away from the out-of-touch Lib Dems:

🗣️ "Mainstream politics has consistently failed to address the practical realities and everyday concerns of hardworking people. For too long, local communities like ours have suffered a serious and painful decline under the stewardship of the Labour Party and the Conservatives."

🗣️ "On key issues such as immigration, we need an honest, sensible conversation and common-sense management rather than ideological sticking plasters. Reform's practical views match what I hear on the ground every single day."

The Liberal Democrats love to preach from the sidelines, but when their own frontline councillors see the reality on the doorstep, they know where the real solutions are! 🫵❌

While the legacy parties push tired dogma, Reform UK is the only movement delivering common sense, secure borders, and genuine accountability. 🇬🇧💪

Huge congratulations to Cllr Kareem and Reform UK Gloucestershire group leader Vernon Smith. The political map is changing, and the people want their country back! 📈🚀

National Highways will be carrying out essential work to demolish the Uphill Court and Grove Court footbridges over the M5 between junctions 11 and 12 this October.
The bridges have deteriorated and must be removed before they become a safety risk.

Planned closures:

11 October onwards
M5 northbound junction 11a exit slip road:
Closed 24 hours a day from 8pm on 11 October for approximately two weeks.
Drivers will still be able to leave the motorway at junction 11 and continue their journeys.

16 to 19 October: Full weekend closure
M5 in both directions between junctions 11 and 12 (including junction 11a):
Closed from 11pm on Friday 16 October until 6am on Monday 19 October.

Further information, including diversion routes and maps, is available on the National Highways website.

National Highways is urging motorists to follow the signed diversion routes rather than relying on satnavs.
Please consider travelling at a different time or using alternative travel options where possible. Allow extra time for journeys, as diversion routes are expected to be busy.

Please also drive considerately through local communities, as many surrounding roads are not designed to accommodate high volumes of traffic.

We recognise that multiple roadworks and closures in the area may cause disruption for residents, businesses and road users. Gloucestershire County Council is working closely with National Highways and other partners to help manage traffic and minimise the impact on local communities wherever possible.
