A lovely day out for some of our Steps Within ladies, volunteering at Sam’s Sunflower Field 🌻💛

Giving back and getting involved in our local community is such an important part of recovery. It’s about building confidence, making connections, finding purpose and enjoying new experiences along the way.

A big thank you to Angling Mentors for inviting our ladies — what a beautiful place to spend the day! 🌻

When support sessions aren’t needed for the practical stuff, sometimes the best kind of support is simply getting out, having fun and enjoying the day together! 🥰🐾

Our lovely support worker Lorraine took some of our residents out to a local dog show, and it looks like they had a brilliant time. 🐶❤️

Recovery is about so much more than appointments and structured support — it’s about connection, new experiences, laughter and learning to enjoy life again.

Days like these are what Steps Within is all about. 🌸

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to receive sexual health training from Let’s Talk About It, helping us to continue building our knowledge and ensuring the women we support have access to accurate, non-judgemental information around their sexual health and wellbeing.

Let’s Talk About It provides free and confidential sexual health services across Hampshire, including:

• STI testing and treatment
• Contraception, including coils and implants
• Free condoms
• Emergency contraception
• HIV testing, treatment and care
• Psychosexual counselling
• Sexual health advice and support
• Training and resources for professionals

A really informative session and another valuable piece of training for our team at Steps Within. Thank you to Let’s Talk About It for sharing your knowledge with us. 💜
