We hope you all had a wonderful summer. Shalford playgroup starts again tomorrow, Wednesday 9th September, from 10.00 - 11.30, so do come along and join us for a play, a coffee and a catch up! Look forward to seeing you there! 😊

Hi all, Please see some info re: Shalford Footbridge below...

We have just found out the promised 6 months to fix this bridge has turned into 2 years! If you live in Shalford you'll understand this bridge was a lifeline especially for our older citizens or busy Mums with buggies who are forced to traverse a bridge with steep steps or worse, use the narrow footpath on the dangerous A281. An enthusiastic journalist armed with a photographer will be attending Florida Road, at 3pm tomorrow, if you want to demonstrate your feelings on this please turn up 4th March 3pm, Please spread the word, this is our chance to urge Network Rail to pull their finger out and mend our bridge, they took minutes to destroy it and now saying it'll take 2 years to mend is simply naff. Tell your friends!!

Hi everyone, thanks for a great session yesterday, if anyone is interested one of our local mums is offering a free yoga class tonight......... Hi I'm Eve, Louisa's Mum in Pine Class. I am training in teaching yoga and would like to invite you to a complementary class this Thursday 29th Jan. in the Oasis Room, Shalford Infants School 8.15-9.15pm. No yoga experience necessary. Please let me know if you are coming by email/ text and I will provide you with a mat and a save a space! Come along!

Thank you everyone for a great group today the singing with maracas was legendary ;-) we have taken the liberty to rename the page "Shalford Parents Network" in order to open it up to any mums and dads in Shalford who want to use it to share information or events, buy, sell or recycle anything or ask for local advice please feel free to post and invite local friends to join the page!
