Launching Shropshire Youth Advisors

Shropshire Council is launching Shropshire Youth Advisors β€” a new opportunity for young people aged 16–25 to help shape how young people have a voice and influence decisions across the county.

Young Advisors will take part in a series of workshops to learn how decisions are made, share their ideas, and help design a participation system that works for all young people.

This is a chance for young people to:

influence services and priorities
share their views
be part of shaping future opportunities

No experience is needed β€” we are looking for a diverse group of young people from across Shropshire.

HADNALL COMMUNITY MEETING - all welcome

You are warmly invited to join us for Hadnall's Annual Community Meeting. This is held once each year and is an opportunity to bring concerns, suggestions, and hear updates on all matters affecting local residents.
This year, as well as reports from our parish and unitary councillors and local organisations, we will be hearing important updates from Severn Trent regarding their current investigations and proposed solutions for drainage in the village. We will also be hearing about the progress of the Community Led Plan 2026, which is your chance to have your say about what the village (and wider community) should look like in the next ten years.
The meeting will be held in Astley Village Hall on Monday 18 May starting at 7pm. The annual meeting of the parish council will follow afterwards, which you are welcome to stay and observe.
