For those who have been following me for a while you'll know I love walking and I love raising money for the breast cancer awareness charity CoppaFeel!
I first trekked with them in 2024, completing 100km over 5 days. It was magical. It was tough. It was life changing. Last year also saw me walking a half marathon with them.
The charity and their ethos have truly captured my heart and I'm very proud that I am now a volunteer ambassador for them, spreading their chest checking message wherever I can.
Being a volunteer ambassador means I get to see the difference the money that I raise makes. That's special and a real privilege.
This week i've been talking to my clients about holiday dates and when I won't be working. So when I take some days off in August, this is why...
This year I will be climbing Snowdon. At night. Because why do it in daylight when night time makes it so much harder! Good job I love a challenge!
Training is interesting as i'm currently being hampered by a kidney stone and bursitis in my hip! 🙈 But the trek must go on, so i'm doing what I can, when I can, and one way or another I WILL complete the climb on 29th August.
Should anyone wish to encourage me to get to the top of Snowdon then here is the link to my Just Giving page. https://www.justgiving.com/page/jenni-boast-snowdon26?utm_medium=FR&utm_source=CL
In the meantime, please remember, breast cancer can happen to anyone, at any age. Checking your chest and knowing your normal is key. Early detection saves lives x
