🚀 SOUTH LANARKSHIRE COUNCIL GRANT – NOW OPEN 🚀

Are you a South Lanarkshire‑based business looking to grow, invest, or future‑proof?

Applications are now open for the South Lanarkshire Business Growth Grant (SLBGG), a South Lanarkshire Council grant designed to support established businesses to strengthen sustainability and drive long‑term growth.

✅ Create new jobs
✅ Grow business turnover
✅ Reduce energy use
✅ Support progress toward Net Zero

💷 What funding is available?

The SLBGG can cover 50% of eligible project costs (excluding VAT), with:
🔹 Up to £20,000 for capital expenditure or infrastructure improvements
🔹 Up to £5,000 for specialist consultancy, staff training, or exhibitions and trade shows
🔹 Minimum award: £5,000 (project costs must be at least £10,000)

👥 Who can apply?
The grant is open to micro, small and medium‑sized enterprises based in South Lanarkshire that have been trading for at least 12 months.

📝 How to apply
The first step is to meet with a Business Adviser at Business Gateway Lanarkshire. Following this discussion, eligible businesses will receive the online application form.

Free swimming is to be offered to everyone under the age of 16 across South Lanarkshire.
