We’re pleased to support OneRichmond’s Charity Dragons’ Den event, taking place at The Exchange in Twickenham on Tuesday 9 June 2026.

The event will showcase six local charities working to tackle social isolation and strengthen community connection across Richmond upon Thames. All six organisations pitching are also Hampton Fund Community Grants partners:
The Mulberry Centre, Brighter Together, Richmond Borough Mind, MTV Youth Hampton, Otakar Kraus Music Trust and Richmond Mencap.

This promises to be a positive celebration of local charities and the vital work taking place across the borough. Guests will have the opportunity to hear live pitches, support grassroots organisations, and contribute through donations, volunteering, pro bono support or other pledges on the night.

Tickets are still available from a minimum donation of £5. Get your tickets at https://www.exchangetwickenham.co.uk/show/onerichmonds-dragons-den/ to avoid missing out!

As part of our ongoing work to develop Hampton Fund’s Individual Grants Programme, we recently held a discussion group with people who have received our grants.
The session was a valuable opportunity to hear directly from participants about the impact of our support, the pressures they are facing locally, and what they feel should be prioritised going forward.
It was also a really positive experience. Participants shared their views openly, listened to each other’s experiences, and gave us insight that we would not get from data alone.
This work forms part of our wider commitment to strengthening participation and ensuring that people with lived experience help shape how our work develops.
You can read a summary of the session and what we heard here:

Thank you again to everyone who took part, and to those who supported us in developing and facilitating this work.
