The summer holidays are well underway but we're already planning lots of fun in the forest for little ones (and their grown ups!) when the big kids are back at school.

Tickets are on sale for NATURE TOTS essions at Hornchurch Country Park from September. Our parent and toddler group meets on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings, during term time. If you care for a child aged 18 months to 5 years' old, who loves to play outdoors, come and join the forest fun! 🌳

We're saddened to hear about the recent wildfires at Dunwich Heath and the fire at Middlewick Ranges. With continued hot, dry weather, the risk of fires across green spaces remains high.

To help protect wildlife and habitats, please avoid lighting fires, using disposable barbecues, or doing anything that could create sparks.

Please stay alert and take care when visiting our sites. If you see any signs of fire, call 999 immediately.

We have a couple of spaces available for our last Wilder Holiday Club taking place next Tuesday (11th August). Drop off your child (aged 5-11) from 9am to 3pm at Hornchurch Country Park for an exciting programme of activities designed for children who love wildlife and time outdoors. There will be plenty of opportunities for nature discovery, making friends, learning new skills/crafts and lots of time for free play!

We have Wilder Holiday Clubs taking place on Tuesdays during the Summer Holiday. Drop off your children (aged 5-11) from 9am to 3pm at Hornchurch Country Park on 4th and 11th August.

As of Saturday 1st August we will have New opening times from 9am Monday to Sunday.
So your early morning dog walks before the heat gets too much for them we will be open for a coffee or cold beverage or even a cheeky ice cream.
