It has been a year since we saved our nursery against all odds! We won, saving 14 jobs and nursery places for 50 children. Times Higher published this article this week and featured our successful campaign, the pending threat to the nursery that continues today, and how many universities across the country are also shutting down their nurseries.

On-site childcare is seen as vital for meeting equality and access goals, but with funding squeezed and demand unpredictable, many institutions are deciding the costs outweigh the benefits

As parents it has been extra specially joyful to drop our children back at nursery this week. Just a few weeks ago we never thought they would have the chance to see their friends and teachers there again. Thanks again to all of you who helped Save Our Nursery! 🥰🥳

Magnificent protests from our kids, parents, teachers, staff and local community supporters yesterday! The children took the lead with the singing, graduates and their families applauded and we gave out 700 leaflets. We will be protesting again today at 5.30pm and more media coverage will follow.
