Cllrs Chris Dunhill, Nick Adams, Margot Sutton and John Bovill met with Neil our allotment warden, Gill from Hessle and District Gardeners Association and a kind resident Mike Smith this week to further discuss the works on Tower Hill Memorial Rose Garden.
Together they decided that they are to progress the works on Saturday and Sunday 17th and 18th of October, to dig up and replant the planters around the Obelisk and give the garden a general tidy.
They are happy for anyone to attend on the 17th and 18th but they will have to bring their own tools.
The weather can not be guaranteed, however we can guarantee you will be very much appreciated by the residents of Hessle for anything you can offer.
A special thanks goes out to C.R.Reynolds Ltd , and Thomas Paul Richardson for your kind donations to the project.
