Delighted to have visited Cheadle Primary school today as part of mental health week. We talked about the library services, read a story and helped pupils create their own class "happy book".

What a great resource for the community!

It's taken around two years and a lot of hard work from our volunteers, but the Cheadle and Tean Times archive is now fully sorted and in suitable storage boxes 😊

These pictured are not available for general viewing, but issues from the 1960s to the 1980s are available to view at Cheadle Community Library 👍

The boxes were funded through the SMDC Councillors' Community Initiative Fund.
