One of the items on the agenda at Full Council last week was local banking services and the motion to support a motion for Link to rethink the decision to not provide a Local Banking Hub for Fakenham, I was very happy to support this motion and I really hope that a Banking Hub is delivered for the area 👍

While we were on the topic of local banking more broadly I made comment that I had emailed Cash Access UK but not had a response regarding the possibility of having an additional cash terminal in Holt given that the one we currently have is often empty during peak times especially during the holiday season ❌🏧

I am glad to report that our Council Chief Executive Steve Blatch has taken on board the views of myself and fellow Cllrs Martin Batey and Andrew Brown to write to CAUK and Link to enquire about the possibility of installing a cash machine in the Banking Hub in Holt 💷

I know this is something the our community have expressed support for previously and would like to see it delivered for our town🤞

Good to be back on the doors in Holt this morning with our County Councillor Andrew listening to your opinions and points of view 📩

Now we have Lidl coming we want to build on this and get more done for our town, from the new primary school to social housing, job opportunities and better local healthcare services, we have so much potential to do good and we want everyone in Holt to have a great place to call home ❤️

Would like to commend Steff for voting in favour of the assisted dying bill 🙌

Sadly the vote lost by a mere 16 votes and the motion fell but I really hope it will be brought back by the commons at a later date for consideration 🙏

No one deserves to suffer the immense cruelty of a life prolonged in length but in absence of quality, comfort and physical and psychological wellbeing 😥
