🚌 Yelabus Reminder – Tuesday Community Bus Service 🚌

Have you tried the Yelabus community transport service yet?

Every Tuesday morning, residents of Eversley can enjoy a convenient door-to-door service to The Meadows, Camberley or Camberley Town Centre. Whether you're heading out for shopping, coffee with friends or simply a change of scenery, Yelabus is here to help.

✅ Door-to-door service✅ Wheelchair accessible✅ Friendly and reliable✅ All ages welcome✅ Open to all residents. Cost is £3.00

Why not make a morning of it? Meet friends for coffee, browse the shops, or simply get out and about without the worry of driving or parking. It's a great way to stay connected, remain independent, and enjoy a trip out.

The service is run in partnership with Eversley Parish Council, Hampshire County Council and Yelabus to help keep our community connected.

If you haven't registered yet, now is the perfect time to give it a try. The more people who use the service, the stronger its future in our village.

🌟 Happy Volunteers' Week! 🌟

This week, we would like to say a huge thank you to all the amazing volunteers who give up their time to help make Eversley such a wonderful place to live.

From our dedicated SpeedWatch team, litter picking and pond volunteers, the hardworking Gardening Club, Community Café volunteers, Village Hall Trustees and Social Committee members, and so many others who quietly work behind the scenes – your time, energy, enthusiasm and commitment make a real difference to our community every single day.

Whether you're helping to keep our village tidy, creating beautiful spaces, supporting community events, serving coffee and a friendly smile, or helping to keep our community facilities running, your efforts do not go unnoticed.

We are incredibly lucky to have such a strong community spirit in Eversley and so many people willing to volunteer their time for the benefit of others.

A polite reminder to everyone parking along Reading Road and around the village.

We have recently received a number of concerns regarding vehicles parking on pavements, across entrances, and on grass verges. Unfortunately this is making it difficult for pedestrians, pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters to pass safely, and in some cases parked vans are restricting visibility for residents trying to pull out onto the road.

Our village verges are also becoming damaged due to vehicles parking on them, particularly during wet weather. These green spaces are costly to repair and help keep Eversley looking attractive for everyone to enjoy.

We kindly ask all drivers to please park considerately and safely, keeping pavements clear and avoiding parking on grass verges.

Thank you for your understanding and support in helping keep Eversley safe, accessible and looking its best for all residents.

Yelabus Service Eversley today

It’s fantastic that the Eversley service welcomes all ages, making it perfect for families as well as anyone wanting an easy and friendly way to get out and about.

The Yelabus also has adjustable seat belts available, and they’re also very happy to use your own booster seats if needed.

Just a reminder that the Yelabus community transport service is running every Tuesday in Eversley, with pick up and drop off right to your front door. Perfect for shopping trips, coffee mornings or just getting out and about and meeting people.

Please remember to register and book your place to help support this fantastic community service and keep it running for everyone in our village.

Please do support the service if you can. It really is a case of “use it or lose it,” and it would be such a shame to lose something that could make such a difference to our community, especially for residents who may struggle with transport or feel isolated.

The more people who register and use the service, the better chance we have of keeping it running in Eversley 🚍☕️🛍️
