June has been another busy month for our Conservative councillors across Tameside. From helping residents with local issues and representing communities at planning meetings, to supporting local events and scrutinising council services, we've continued working hard on behalf of residents.

Absolutely heartbreaking news. My thoughts and deepest condolences are with this young boy’s family, friends and everyone affected by this tragic loss. 💙

Please, if you have children or grandchildren, have a conversation with them about the dangers of open water.

So many young people think, “It won’t happen to me,” but tragedies like this are a devastating reminder that reservoirs, rivers, canals and lakes can be incredibly dangerous, even in warm weather.
