We are expecting large visitor numbers over the next two days. Online tickets have now completely sold out. There will be a very limited number of walk in tickets available and these will be issued on a first come first serve basis (not able to pre book). We cannot guarantee entry for anyone without a pre-booked ticket.

Our lifeguards are on site for your comfort and everyone’s safety. Safety signage is displayed throughout the Lido, along with clear information on water depths in each area. If you have any questions regarding water safety, please speak to a member of staff before entering the water. Children under the age of 8 years must be supervised by their parent, or an adult aged 16 or over (with a maximum of 2 children to 1 supervisor in the swimming pool water).

Do not bring any glass, alcohol or barbecue onto our side whatsoever. Security personal will be checking bags on entry for these items.

Ilkley Lido week commencing 10th August 2026.

More nice weather is returning over the next few days, what an ideal to time visit Ilkley Pool and Lido. Met Office is currently predicting 27° Tuesday 11th, 20° Wednesday 13 and 32° Thursday 13th.

We will be open daily 9.30 – 14.00 and 15.00 – 19.30 Monday to Friday. We strongly advise customer to pre booking using the link below. There will be a very limited number of tickets available on the door and we anticipate these will sell out within the first hour of opening. For people that have secured tickets, you are able to turn up at time within the advertised session.

Our early morning swim session 7.00 – 9.00 will remain walk ups only.

Ilkley Café - Due to an issue with the café’s power supply, we are currently offering a reduced menu until further notice. There will still be a selection of ice creams, soft drinks and snacks available, but hot food options are limited. We are currently exploring options to provide sandwiches on site. Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and drink as usual.

UPDATE 6PM - The power has been restored and Ilkley Lido has now reopened and will close at 7.30pm.

Unfortunately Ilkley Pool and Lido has had to close early today due to a power cut. Our contractors are working to fix the problem and we will update as soon as we know when we are able to reopen. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.

Royal Life Saving Society - National Pool Lifeguard training - July 2026

All of our reception, lifeguard and duty management teams are trained to RLSS Uk standards and have to complete monthly training to ensure they are compliant in their duties.

This months training included CPR – Adult Sudden Collapse, Personal Safety During Rescues, Deep Water Casualty Extraction and Spinal work using a Personal Extraction Board. Royal Life Saving Society UK - RLSS UK
