Whether you have special skills, or just want to get involved and learn something new, we're looking for individuals who want to champion the Community Centre and help it become the best it can be!

We are specifically looking for the following things...

🎶🪩 An events sub-committe:
As we move towards getting our Public Entertainment Licence, we are starting to plan a special Opening Event. Do you have experience in events planning? Have ideas on how to raise funds? We would love to hear from you!

📝💰 Board Members:
Do you have skills that can help us with the logistics of running a Charity? An excellent note-taker, a whizz at accounts, or just keen to get stuck in? We are always open to new Board Members, and you don't need any specific skills to get involved.

Please get in touch - you will be in good company and part of an enthusisatic and nurturing team of volunteers.

📧[email protected]

If you can't volunteer any time just now, please share this post so we can reach as many people as possible. Thank you 🩵

🌿 Caring for Someone with Persistent Pain?

Supporting someone living with ongoing pain can be rewarding—but also exhausting, confusing, and sometimes overwhelming.
It’s easy to focus all your energy on the person you care for… but your wellbeing matters too. 💛

💡 The Live Well With Pain “Ten Footsteps for Carers” offer simple, practical guidance to help you support your loved one while also looking after yourself:
👣 The Ten Footsteps for Carers here: https://livewellwithpain.co.uk/resources-for-people-with-pain/ten-footsteps-for-carers/

🌱 Small changes can make a big difference—for both you and the person you care for.

💬 Remember: You don’t have to “fix” pain. Your role is to support, encourage, and walk alongside them.
