⚠️ Please note that, due to the extreme temperatures that are forecast, the mobile libraries will not be operating on Wednesday 24 or Thursday 25 June.

With temperatures forecast to reach higher than 35°C, it will be too hot for both staff and customers to be on board.

It's certainly been warmer the past couple of days but, as there's been a breeze blowing too, we've decided to include kites in our weekly Sunday crafts session this morning. One of our wonderful volunteers made this fantastic picture!
Come along between 10am and 12 noon, it's free to take part and there's no need to book.

🧭 Just one more month until the Reading Quest starts!

You don’t need to read a set number of books – our summer reading programme is designed to encourage children to enjoy reading at their own pace in a fun, interactive way!

Did you know that the summer solstice this year will be on 21st June? The summer solstice is the day with the longest period of daylight and shortest night of the year in that hemisphere.
This morning, during our weekly crafts session, we'll be making a clock to mark the occasion. Come along between 10am and 12 to take part. There's no need to book, all materials are provided and it's free.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, Kesgrave Library will be closed at lunchtime on Saturday 13th June between 1pm and 2pm. We apologise for the inconvenience.
You can still return items via the silver letterbox to the right of the main door though. They will be dealt with when the library reopens.
