Saturday the 20th of June we are running our Bronze workshop at the Longship Hebburn. Starts 10.00hrs FREE bacon and sausage butties.
We invite anyone who is interested in our work to come along and find out how we are educating the carers who look after our veterans.

Residents at Donwell House enjoyed watching the Trooping the Colour celebrations today in honour of His Majesty King Charles III’s official birthday.

Our veterans also proudly paid tribute to the King, sharing memories and reflecting on the importance of service, tradition, and national pride. It was a wonderful occasion enjoyed by all.

We’re really looking forward to being part of the Springwell Village 1940s Weekend!

The Veterans for Veterans in Care team will have a table at the event, so if you’re coming along, please pop over and say hello. We’d love to meet you, tell you a little about the work we do supporting veterans living in care homes, and chat about how you can get involved.

There will be plenty to see and do throughout the weekend, and we’re proud to be part of such a fantastic community event celebrating the 1940s and remembering the generation who gave so much.

Whether you’re a veteran, have served yourself, have family connections to the Armed Forces, or simply want to support a local charity, we’d love to see you.
