Meet Abi. She’s an on-call firefighter at Ampthill Community Fire Station 👩‍🚒

“Being an on-call firefighter can be a juggling act — managing availability, drill nights and training alongside work and personal life. It’s definitely for the committed. But being part of a great team and having the chance to do some real epic stuff makes it the best thing I’ve ever done. It’s all about helping the community we love when they’re in need.”
