With the hot, dry weather continuing, the Government has issued a severe wildfire alert across the UK.

So, if you’re heading to Bantham, please help us keep the beach, dunes, surrounding countryside — and everyone enjoying them — safe. 🌾🏖️

🚫 No BBQs
🚫 No fires or firepits
🚫 No fireworks
🚭 Please take extra care with ci******es

It only takes one tiny spark to cause a very big problem.

Bring the picnic, bring the cold drinks, bring the sunshine vibes… just leave anything flame-related at home! ☀️🧺🌊

🔥 Fire Safety Notice 🔥
Due to the current high fire risk across the UK, we have taken the decision to ban the use of disposable BBQs across Bantham Estate with immediate effect.
While we know many visitors enjoy bringing a BBQ to the beach, the combination of prolonged dry weather and warm temperatures means even a small spark can have devastating consequences for our grassland, wildlife, neighbouring properties and the wider landscape.
We appreciate your understanding and support in helping us protect this special place for everyone to enjoy.

This weekend we're delighted to be welcoming Level Water back to Bantham Estate for the and ! 🌊💙
Level Water organise some of the UK's most spectacular open water swimming events, showcasing the beauty of our natural landscapes while raising vital funds to help children with disabilities across the UK learn to swim. It's an incredible cause, and we're proud to play a small part in supporting their work.

As you can imagine, Bantham will be much busier than usual this weekend. If you're visiting, we'd really appreciate your patience:
🚗 Please drive carefully and allow extra time for your journey.
👋 Follow the guidance of the event marshals and the Bantham Estate team.
💙 If you're around, show your support for this fantastic charity and everyone taking part.

Hello sunshine!! ☀️ ☀️☀️Look at the weather coming up for May half term, there isn’t a better time to visit Bantham.

From midday tomorrow, our team will be on the beach pouring wines by the glass, wine flights and local beers 🍷 plus offering vineyard tours and tastings for anyone wanting to make a day of it.🍾🍻
The will be ready to serve you & their legendary Gastro Pizzas are back from 5pm today 🍕 open every day through to 31st May.
Looking to get in the water? will be here all week with surf lessons and equipment hire ready 🏄
And of course the amazing team will be on patrol helping everyone enjoy the beach safely. 🏝️
