📢 Important Statement from Blue Ribbon Community Care
Many of you will have seen ITV News' report concerning Blue Ribbon Healthcare.
Unfortunately, during the broadcast the organisation was repeatedly referred to simply as "Blue Ribbon", which has led to a number of people mistakenly believing the report relates to Blue Ribbon Community Care.
We want to make it absolutely clear that Blue Ribbon Community Care has no connection whatsoever with Blue Ribbon Healthcare.
Since the report aired, our business has received a large number of abusive messages and comments from people who understandably believed they had identified the correct organisation. Sadly, this has caused considerable distress to our staff, who continue to work tirelessly caring for vulnerable people in our communities.
Blue Ribbon Community Care was established in 2009 and has spent more than 17 years building a reputation for delivering compassionate, high-quality care. We are proud of the trust placed in us by the people we support, their families, our commissioners and our dedicated team.
We have contacted ITV News and asked them to issue a clarification to help prevent further confusion and to protect our reputation.
In the meantime, we kindly ask that this post is shared so that the correct information reaches as many people as possible.
