Yorkshire URNU Yorkshire Universities Royal Naval Unit & HMS EXPLORER. Offering Yorkshire undergraduates with sea training, sports, socials, adventure training & more!

Yorkshire University Royal Naval Unit is a training organisation that gives members the opportunity to build skills and confidence through leadership, maritime training and exposure to the Royal Navy. This is all without call-up liability or obligation to join the Royal Navy. We serve universities all over Yorkshire, including the universities of Hull, Sheffield, Leeds, York and Bradford. We are l

ike a society but with a difference. Many of the aspects of the unit are student run, and we combine hard work and commitment with adventurous training, socials, formal events and dinners, visits, sport, and connections with other URNUs to develop undergraduates.
